Bruce Tangel joined me in April in Ketchikan Alaska for a Coastal Black Bear hunt. Although they were experiencing a late winter Bruce and I still managed to get our Black Bears. We both plan on having ours life size mounted, but these bears are so big they require Grizzly Bear mannequins instead of ones for Black Bears. Mine measures somewhere between 7 1/2 and 8 foot. Bruce's measures 6' 10" and has a perfect coat. - Read The Story About This Hunt

Dave Merkel joined me in April on a trip to Patagonia Argentina for a Red Stag hunt with a couple of days of fly fishing as a bonus. Daniel and Fernando were our outfitters and they run a first class operation. We decided on a fly camp, but a lodge is available on this hunt as well. Not only is the country beautiful but the Argentine people are the friendliest I've ever met.

New Mexico has always been one of my favorite states. So when an opportunity came to hunt Pronghorn I jumped at it as did Dave Merkel, Ron & Marie Pavlik who, with others, joined me on this hunt. This was my first Pronghorn hunt and certainly one of the most enjoyable North American hunts I've been on.
