Fishing Description

Aransas Pass offers some of the finest redfish fishing on the gulf coast. And we are the only Orvis endorsed fly-fishing destination on the entire gulf coast.

But you don't need to be a fly fisherman to enjoy our spectacular bay fishing, you can use bait casting or spinning gear as well, and we will even supply the equipment if needed.

This package is based on four persons, double occupancy. If your group is smaller or larger we are pleased to accommodate you and can give you pricing based on your specific needs.

Camp & Accommodations

The Lodge overlooks Redfish Bay in Aransas Pass, TX. It is 10,000 square feet facility and has 12 bedrooms, game room, great room, bar, commercial kitchen and a large conference room. The lodge sleeps 24 people double occupancy and the meeting room can accommodate up to forty.

Each bedroom has it's own private bath, and the great room is equipped with big screen T.V. complete with digital surround sound, DVD player and 100's of DVD's. Our game room is equipped with a regulation pool table, large TV with satellite programming.

The Lodge has porches galore to enjoy a beverage outside or nestle up with a book in the coastal breeze.

The Meeting Room:
1,500 square feet for up to forty guest and many different seating arrangements are possible. Ice, water, coffee, snacks and sodas are always available during your meeting at no additional charge.

Room Amenities:
LCD Projector, Large Note Pads, Legal Pads, Overhead Projector, VCR, DVD Player, Wireless High Speed Internet, Large Screen TV, and Slide Projector.

Getting There

The Lodge is located in Aransas Pass, Texas overlooking Redfish Bay. Due to neighborly considerations we are not able to post directions to the facility on the website. Driving direction to the lodge will be provided upon confirmed booking.

The Corpus Christi International Airport is served by Southwest, Delta and Continental Airlines, and is only a half hour from the Lodge. The Lodge will provide ground transportation to and from the airport for all fly-in guests.

Driving guests should allow 3-1/2 hours from Houston, San Antonio or Austin. Guests should plan to arrive at Shoal Grass Lodge between 4-5:00 p.m. on the designated day of arrival. Departures from the Lodge are scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
