Today Kamchatka Russia is what Alaska was 75 years ago — streams full of Rainbow Trout
whose size and quantity will not compare to any other place in the world.
We fish in northern Kamchatka on the Osediaya River, a big producer of large 22"-30" Rainbows,
as well as five species of Char, Grayling, Dolly Varden and Silver Salmon.
The Osediaya River lies about 50 miles north of the famed Sadanka River and flows west into
the sea of Okhotsk.
All fishing is catch and release except for some salmon, char or grayling we might keep
for dinner.

Day 1 (Sunday) |
If coming from the U.S. depart Anchorage Alaska for Petropavlovsk Russia. |
Day 2 (Monday) |
Arrive at Petropavlovsk Kamchatka Airport early in the morning, transfer to the river and start fishing. |
Day 3-7 (Tuesday thru Saturday) |
Five days of fantastic fly fishing. |
Day 8 (Sunday) |
Return to Petropavlovsk Kamchatka Airport and depart for home. |

- Getting There

The first step in your journey is to get to Petropavlovsk Kamchatka Airport. For Americans the usual
route is thru Anchorage, Alaska. For others the shortest route may be thru Moscow.
From Petropavlovsk you will be flown in one of our guides Russian AN-2 Bi-wing plane
North to Esso, a 1.3 hour flight, our staging area for all northern rivers. After
a brief break you will board a M-8 helicopter and fly another hour to some of the best fishing
you have ever seen.
