Rocky Mountain Elk are by far the most numerous and have the largest antlers. Roosevelt Elk have the largest bodies, and are the most difficult to hunt because of their forest habitat (but less difficult where introduced). Tule Elk have the smallest bodies and antlers, and the most limited range.
