Rowland ward and sci world record book score for hunting north american sheep.

North American Native Sheep

I Want To Learn About:

California Bighorn Sheep
Dall Sheep
Desert Bighorn Sheep
Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep
Stone Sheep

Dall and Stone are "thin horns" (12"-14" basal circumferences on average). The California, Desert, and Rocky Mountain are "big horns" (14"-16" except 13"-15" on average for the California). Dall and Stone interbreed in northwestern British Columbia and central Yukon. Any sheep that is not pure white (except for the tail) is considered a Stone (the lighter gradation of Stone is sometimes called a Fannin). The California is a smaller version (body and horn) of the Rocky Mountain. They both count as Rocky Mountain towards the Grand Slam.
