British Columbia
- Spring & Fall Grizzly Bear Hunt
-
12 days - $12,500 - 1x1 (one hunter / one guide)
- Hunting Season
-
May thru June, August thru October
- Hunt Description
-
These guided spring and fall grizzly bear hunts are spot and stalk hunts — no baiting here.
In the spring hunts are done on old logging cut blocks, south facing slopes, and along old logging
trails. This time of year, being just out of their dens, the grizzly bears are looking
for grass to eat to help jump start their digestive systems. In the fall hunts are done along
the rivers where the grizzly bears are fishing and around the berry patches.
Although the bear population is high and you can expect a 100% success rate on an opportunity
to take a grizzly bear, the number of tags issued each year is extremely limited so book
this hunt early.
A black bear is a great add on to this hunt as they are often spotted in the grass
in the spring and in the berry patches in the fall. Whitetail Deer and Mule Deer are also
possible add ons in the fall.
At the successful conclusion of your hunt you can take it easy and relax at the
lodge, site see on ATV's, or do some fishing. Or our outfitter can take you back to
the airport.
Bowhunters are welcome and in fact our outfitter is an avid bow hunter himself.
