10 day Kamchatka Brown Bear Hunt - $10,000

The hunt for one of the largest brown bears in the world is done on foot or on horseback along brooks full of salmon, or in fields of berries where bears like to feed. Daily one can meet 3 to 10 bears so the hunter generally has an excellent opportunity for a large bear.

Adding a Chukotka Moose, one of the largest Moose in the world, to the hunt is possible. The hunt is done on horseback or walking and stalking during the rut when the moose are very active. The hunt begins from the base camp (tents or small shelters of the professional hunters) searching for Moose for one or two days and regularly checking the open areas in the woods where they regularly come to graze.

There is also the possibility of hunting the Kamchatka Snow sheep in the surrounding mountains.

Bow hunting is not allowed in Russia.

Remember — This is Russia, be prepared for changes and compromises.

Hunting Season
September-October with September being the best.
