Hunt Description

In Kyrgyzstan, a small country at the slants of the Pamirin the mountainous chain of the Tjan San, there lives a large ibex population of the Mid-asian Ibex, considered the world's largest Ibex. The world record comes from Kyrgyzstan.

This hunt, as all the hunts in the high mountains, requires the hunter be in good physical condition. The number of ibex is very high, and the hunt begins by approaching on horse up to where the Mid-asian Ibex area begins, which is just below the area where the hunting takes place.

Camp & Accommodations

Accommodations are in the hunting lodges or in the cabins of the shepherds in the high mountains.

Getting There

From the airport in Biskek, where our representative will meet you to help you with the customs procedure, you will be brought to the hunting area in a 4WD vehicle, and from the base camp you will continue on horseback and on foot for the duration of the hunt.
