Mongolia has a long tradition of hunting. There are three different species of sheep:
Altai Argali, Gobi Argali and Hanghay Argali.
Altai Argali are one of the finest sheep in the world with 55-60 inches length of the horns and up
to a 22 inch base.
The hunt is rather difficult and requires a good physical condition, especially if one wants a
big trophy. Hunts take place at altitudes up to 10,000 feet.
Requests for the licenses, because of the limited number, has to be made 2-3 years in advance.

- Getting There

You can get to Ulaanbaatar (UB) via Frankfurt or Moscow or Seoul (South Korea). You
will be met by our staff at the airport, who will assist you through customs.
