Situated in the center of Asia, Mongolia is an immense country with only 2 million inhabitants of which
one half live in the capital. In the west are the Altai Mountains, to the south lies the famous Gobi
desert, while the remainder of the country is covered with steppe (grass lands), apart some wooded
areas in the north.
Rain is typically scarce with a "continental" climate including frigid winters. For this reason even
though the hunting season is open until February we recommend you to hunt from July thru October, with
November not really recommended but possible.
The largest part of Mongolia is wild and uninhabited makes it a real Eden for the wild animals.
As in most Asian and European countries your hunting party will be accompanied by a local game keeper.
You should give them a small tip like $10 or a knife.

Accommodations the first night are in a 5 star hotel in Ulaanbaatar. For the remainder of the hunt you
will stay in yurts, or ger as the Mongolians call them. Meals consist of meat (sheep, horse, pork). We
recommend you bring vitamin supplements and freeze dried foods if you like.
