Mongolia has a long tradition of hunting. There are three different species of sheep:
Altai Argali, Gobi Argali and Hanghay Argali.
Hanghay Argali of the mid-Altai region are smaller than the High Altai Argali. They have 50-54
inch horns on average and up to 18 inch bases.
The hunt is rather difficult and requires a good physical condition, especially if one wants a
big trophy. Hunts take place at altitudes up to 6,000 feet.
Requests for the licenses, because of the limited number, has to be made 2-3 years in advance.

- Getting There

You can get to Ulaanbaatar (UB) via Frankfurt or Moscow or Seoul (South Korea). You
will be met by our staff at the airport, who will assist you through customs.
