Hunt Description

Located in the Khomas Hochland mountains of Namibia, just 40 miles west of Windhoek, this hunt offers the perfect opportunity for the non-hunter to do some shopping and sight-seeing while the hunter enjoys some of the best hunting in Africa. You can also do some bird hunting while you are here.

Namibia is a very stable and beautiful country to the immediate north east of South Africa. With a population of 1.6 million people, Namibia is one of the least populated countries in the world. Known for it’s large Kudu, Gemsbok (Oryx), Springbok, Eland and Red Hartebeest, Namibia is also the only place where you can legally hunt the Hartmann’s Zebra free range. The breathtaking scenery, pleasant climate and wonderful people make this country a first choice for an African hunt and vacation.

All hunting is fair chase and will be done by stalking on foot in combination with a 4x4 vehicle. Both rifle and bow hunters are welcome and a variety of blinds and hides are available for the bow hunter. For personal attention, we try to limit the number of hunters to two with companions, at one time.

Shots or Malaria pills are not required for hunting in this area of Namibia.

Camp & Accommodations

Our hunting area and lodge is located 65km (40 miles) West of Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. Accommodation consists of comfortable guest rooms, each with a private bathroom. Meals are prepared daily and are hearty and tasty.

Getting There

The arrival airport is Windhoek International Airport and is about a 2 hour flight from Johannesburg in South Africa. Firearm permits are issued at the port of entry. You are allowed a maximum of 60 rounds of ammunition.
