Hunt Description

We hunt in the Gwai area and Doma Safari area in Mashonaland. The Gwai are is renowned for its cape buffalo and elephant. It has also a good compliment of sable and various plains game.

Both Trophy Elephant Hunts and PC (Population Control) or PAC (Problem Animal Control) Elephant hunts are available. With trophy hunts the animal (tusks, hide, etc) is exportable. With PC and PAC hunts nothing is exportable, but the cost is significantly reduced allowing many more hunters to experience an elephant hunt.

Both bulls and cows typically have tusks, although the bulls are generally larger as the bull's body is generally larger. However tuskless bulls and cows are fairly common and are usually more aggressive than those with tusks.

Zimbabwe is an outstanding hunting destination, with some of the friendliest people you've ever met.

Camp & Accommodations

The camp consists of 4 chalets under thatch roof with open facades, and can accommodate 8 people with 2 sharing a chalet. The camp is situated about one and a half hours from Victoria Falls and about one-half hour from the Hwange safari lodge.

Getting There

You will fly into Victoria Falls. There you will be met by your Professional Hunter and transported by vehicle to the hunting camp.
