Sims Vibration Laboratory's LimbSaver Precision-Fit Recoil Pad
For the last four years I have bird hunted with Benelli's Super Black Eagle (12 ga. model). I have never
owned a shotgun that I have connected so well with as I do with the Benelli. The only complaint I have
is that after a long day of wingshooting I experience pain in my shoulder from the recoil.
I am a dedicated patron to the Outdoor Channel and am always seeing the commercials for the Sims Vibration
Laboratories recoil pads and archery equipment. I made the connection that I needed to get the recoil pad
that was custom fitted by the factory for my Super Black Eagle.
After, I received my SVL recoil pad I removed the stock recoil pad that came on my shotgun and installed
the SVL pad. It was very easy, two screws and It was done.
The first time I shot my gun after the installation I was amazed at how much the pad really reduced the
recoil. Thanks to the NAVCOMTM (Noise And Vibration Control Material)
shooting my 12 ga. was similar to shooting a .410. I could shoot all day and not be bothered with the
nagging pain in the shoulder that I had experienced before I had installed the SVL recoil pad.
All my shooting buddies have since purchased their own SVL recoil pad after testing the pad on my gun.
The pad works so well it sells itself.
Because of the success with the SVL recoil reduction pad on my shotgun I decided to purchase an additional
pad for my 300 Win. Mag. I had the same experience as I did with my shotgun. Two screws and it was installed
and then pure amazement. It is unbelievable the amount of recoil reduction this little pad delivers.
I recently when to visit Randy Fite of Fite Custom Rifles and on my visit we experimented a little with
the loads and I shot my 300 Win Mag probably 30 times. If I had done this before the SVL
pad I would not be able to function afterwards, but with the SVL pad I was able to shoot as many
times as I needed and my shoulder only grew slightly tried on being pounded over and over again.
Hands down I recommend this recoil pad to anyone from the beginner to the person who shoots competitively.
