BLACKHAWK® Carries CQC Holsters With SERPA Technology Into The Consumer Handgun Market

Law enforcement officers and concealed carry permit holders have a lot in common when it comes to holsters-both need to carry a handgun comfortably and securely and be able to access the firearm quickly and efficiently. Formerly marketed exclusively to law enforcement and military markets, BlackHawk will now be offering its advanced CQC holster line to the civilian handgun market through development of its new outdoors division.

A combination of innovation and technology has made the CQC the most versatile holster on the market. Years of research and experimentation helped develop the ultimate material for the injection-molded CQC holster the carbon-fiber composites offer the strongest, lightest materials available to date.

BlackHawk's patented SERPA Technology lock engages the handgun's trigger guard. The active retention mechanism locks the handgun into place when holstered and the release is made using a normal drawing motion, with the trigger finger putting slight pressure on the holster body. The speed cut in the front of the holster allows for more rapid presentation and ease of re-holstering. The CQC comes with both a belt loop and paddle platform. Both of these platforms are angle adjustable allowing for 5 different positions ranging from extreme butt forward to extreme muzzle forward.

The CQC holster currently fits multiple models by the following manufacturers: Glock, Colt, Beretta, Sig, Springfield, and Heckler & Koch. Available for both the left and right hand, the holster comes in either a Black Carbon Fiber finish or a Black, Coyote Tan, or Olive Drab Matte finish.
