BLACKHAWK® Illuminates The Outdoor Market With Night-Ops™ Tactical Flashlights

The most innovative handheld illumination tool in the law enforcement and military market is now available to the sportsman-BlackHawk® introduces Night-Ops™ flashlights and patented technology to the outdoor market. Ruggedly built with powerful illumination, a Night-Ops flashlight is the perfect dusk-dawn companion in the outdoors.

The powerful Gladius™ and Falcata™ flashlights by Night-Ops incorporate a UCL glass lens with an anti-reflective coating that provides over 99% light throughput.

The 6v Gladius is packed with user-friendly illumination tool features such as multi-function operation, auto temperature control, low battery indication, and extended runtime. Multi-function operation modes of the Gladius include: Momentary Activation, Constant ON Activation, Variable Dimming Mode (bright to dim, dim to bright and memory modes), Disorienting Strobe Mode, and Lock-Out Mode.

An auto temperature control automatically regulates over-heating by cutting the LED power by 50% (25% light reduction) while the light continues to run. If temperature rises above the critical threshold, power is automatically terminated. The flashlight also features low battery indication that offers two noticeable, consecutive, rapid pulses every 15 seconds until the batteries are replaced. The Gladius will run on full power for approximately 70 minutes with an additional 20 minutes of gradually reducing light output. The Gladius will run 400+ hours at the lowest setting.

The Gladius measures 6.23" in length, has a 1" diameter body, 1.27" diameter bezel and tailcap, and weighs 6.63 ounces. Available in Black, Olive Drab, and Coyote Tan, MSRP for the Gladius is $249.99.

New to the Night-Ops line is the Falcata, featuring a patented Xenon Bulb designed for shock isolation against recoil and drops and operates in two modes, Momentary and Constant ON Activation. The Falcata also features a removable anti-roll tailcap; the flared attachment simply snaps onto the pushbutton tailcap. The Falcata, powered by a 3-volt lithium battery, offers one full hour of runtime.

Available in 6v and 9v models the Falcata comes in black. The 6v weighs 5.9 oz and is 5.4" in length, while the 9v weighs 7.4 oz and is 6.72" in length. Both have a 1" body diameter and 1.27" diameter on the bezel and tailcap. MSRP for the 6v Falcata is $99.99, and $139.99 for the 9v.
