Archieved Product Announcement note: this product may no longer be on the market check with the manufacturer Leupold Alumina™ Intensifier™ YL™ (Yellow) A thread-on accessory for Leupold® riflescopes, Leupold's Alumina™ Intensifier™ YL™ (Yellow) sharpens details and delivers brighter, more defined images. Much like yellow lenses of shooting glasses, the Intensifier YL reduces the blue light that is predominant in dusty, hazy conditions. It also brightens a dull image on an overcast day and turns soft gray shadows darker for better contrast. In addition, the Intensifier YL eliminates the violet and blue light rays seen in a halo at the edge of a target's black areas. As a result, the shooter can see a crisp black edge of both target outlines and bullet holes in paper. Game animals are also easier to spot from cover on bright and hazy days. The Intensifer YL fits all 2004 and newer Leupold riflescopes with 50mm, 42mm, 40mm, 36mm, 33/32mm, 28mm and 20mm threaded objective lenses.
