Leupold Green Ring Yosemite Binoculars |
One for All: Leupold® Introduces New Green Ring™ Yosemite™ Model Binoculars
Maintaining the principle that everyone, regardless of size, stature or age, deserves high-quality optics, Leupold® has expanded the Green Ring™ Yosemite™ Series porro prism binoculars to include an 8x30mm model. The Yosemite is the first series of binoculars designed for use by people of all sizes. At 18.5 ounces and measuring 4.5 inches in length, the Yosemite 8x30mm is ideal for families with young children. The binocular can be adjusted to fit the interpupillary distances of children and smaller adults, or widen to perfectly fit the eye spacing of larger individuals. With a generous eye relief of 14mm, the Yosemite can easily accommodate users with eyeglasses as well. In addition, the binoculars also feature multi-coated optics for a bright sight picture with the contrast and color fidelity necessary for an optimal view, while the porro prism design of the Yosemite 8x30mm binocular allows for greater depth perception.
“Full size binoculars can be hard to use for people of small stature,” said John Riutta, observation market development leader for Leupold. “The 8x30mm Yosemite offers an exceptional blend of functionality and power to provide families with a binocular that is ideal for both parents and children.” Ergonomically designed for comfort and balance, the binocular has a large focus knob and diopter that are easily adjusted by small, large or even cold hands. Available in three colors (red, black or natural), the Yosemite’s rubber armor coating provides protection against the elements and a sure grip, wet or dry. The binoculars are fully waterproof and backed by Leupold’s Green Ring Limited Lifetime Warranty.
