With nearly five inches of eye relief, new Leupold® Mark 4® 2.5-8x36mm Mid Range/Tactical (MR/T™) M1 and M2 riflescopes can help provide the instant target acquisition needed by military and law enforcement professionals using bolt-action rifles as well as the M-14 and other rifles serving in the Designated Marksman role.

Leupold Mark 4 MR/T riflescopes are built to maximize the performance of firearms at distances ranging from 50 to 700 meters. In 2004, Leupold introduced 3-9x36mm MR/T riflescopes specially designed with a compact eye relief for 5.56mm AR-style firearms. The new 2.5-8x36mm MR/T models feature eye relief optimized for bolt-action rifles and other rifles functioning in the Designated Marksman role, including the AR-10, FAL, G3, SCAR-H or M-14.

The 2.5-8x36mm MR/T has finger-adjustable, knurled windage and elevation dials with audible, tactile "clicks" for adjustment precision. The knurled dials are designed for easy gripping and use in various shooting positions, even in wet conditions. Elevation and windage adjustment markings: M1 dials - 1/4-MOA, M2 dials - 1/2-MOA with dials marked for bullet drop compensation.

In addition, the 2.5-8x36mm MR/T M1 and M2 riflescopes feature Leupold's Index Matched Lens System™. By maximizing the transmission of usable light to the eye, this lens coating system provides an exceptionally bright and clear sight picture with sharp contrast, even in low-light conditions.

Two range estimating reticle options, Leupold's Mil Dot and Tactical Milling Reticle (TMR), help facilitate precise shot placement. Each is also available in an illuminated version designed to allow fast, accurate target acquisition and shot placement in extreme low-light conditions.

• Maintube diameter - 30mm for increased range of windage and elevation adjustments (90 MOA). This provides the capability to engage targets without holdovers at 1,000 yards. The maintube is milled from one piece of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for superior strength.
• Environmental protection - each scope is guaranteed to be fully waterproof, shockproof and fog proof.
• Riflescope weight and length - 16 ounces (454 grams), 11.3 inches (31.2 centimeters).
• Finish - full tactical matte black finish to maximize concealment potential (even the Leupold ring, which is typically gold, is matte black).
