With New Leupold® RX™-IV Boone and Crockett™ Edition Rangefinder, Hunters Now Able to Estimate Spread on Game from Distances

The Leupold® RX™-IV Boone and Crockett® Edition digital laser rangefinder gives hunters more than the distance to their trophies – it can actually estimate the antler width of game animals from the distance. The rangefinder can measure from 10 to 60 inches in increments of 1 inch.

Using a digital Trophy Scale™, the RX-IV Boone and Crockett Edition digital laser rangefinder estimates a trophy’s spread based on the range to the animal. It can be set for specific increments, so hunters know if an animal measures up.

The RX-IV Boone and Crockett has Leupold’s True Ballistic Range™ (TBR™) feature. With a built-in inclinometer, the rangefinder provides a much more accurate distance measurement for uphill or downhill shots by calculating the incline, the line of sight range to the target and a projectile’s ballistics. And, working in conjunction with the Boone and Crockett reticle in the rangefinder, the feature will show a hunter a blinking aiming point that corresponds with his riflescope’s Boone and Crockett reticle, for accurate shot placement even at longer ranges.

The RX-IV Boone and Crockett also features three selectable reticles. Reticle choices include Duplex®, Boone and Crockett, and Plus Point™.

Designed for ease of use, the RX-IV Boone and Crockett Edition rangefinder features the Quick Set Rotary Menu™. The menu allows hunters to select from multiple environmental modes and other modes in combination to help deal with the varying conditions experienced in the field.

The Quick Set Rotary Menu includes: Long Range Mode; Rain Mode; 1st Target Mode; Last Target Mode; distance output in meters, feet or yards; line of sight output; temperature readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit; digital compass mode; declination angle output which corrects the usual compass error between magnetic north and true north; True Ballistic Range output; bow ballistic group; ballistic group characters; and Match 13™ Reticle System™.

Rugged and waterproof, the rangefinder offers 8x monocular magnification. Weighing only 12 ounces and less than 5 inches in length, the rangefinder is available in black and golden sage with an emblazoned Boone and Crockett medallion. The RX-IV Boone and Crockett Edition also features fold-down rubber eyecups for easy use with or without eyeglasses.
