New Golden Ring® roof prism binoculars with Leupold’s® exclusive Switch/Power™ Technology allow hunters to make instant transitions between magnification levels while keeping game centered in the view, with minimal need to readjust focus.

“With Switch/Power Technology, hunters will be able to change from 7x to 12x or from 10x to 12x with the flip of a switch,” said Mike Slack, marketing communications manager for Leupold. “When zoom binoculars move up in magnification, the visual field narrows and doesn’t remain in focus – this can cause the hunter to lose sight of game. Switch/Power Technology allows users to experience a full, immediate power setting transition without having to lower the binocular. No other binocular has this capability.”

With Switch/Power Technology, users can go from power settings of 7x to 12x or from 10x to 17x, depending on model. Regardless of magnification, the object being viewed remains in the center of the visual field between transitions. Other multi-magnification binoculars can be very large and heavy, or require changing each eyepiece individually. The 7/12x32mm and 10/17x42mm Golden Ring binoculars with Switch/Power Technology are 5 and 6 inches in length and weigh only 21.4 and 23.9 ounces, respectively.

To ensure the highest image quality, the binoculars feature multicoated lenses for superb brightness, resolution, contrast and color fidelity. The binoculars have phase coated roof prism and L-coat™ enhanced auxiliary prisms that give hunters a sharp, distinct image.

Available in both 7/12x32mm and 10/17x42mm models, the binoculars come with contoured, side-flared eyecups for normal use as well as flat, padded eyecups for use with eyeglasses. Rugged and waterproof, the binoculars are covered by Leupold’s Full Lifetime Guarantee.
