Leupold® Meets Customers’ Needs with New Trek Pod II

Innovations from Leupold® reach beyond optics with the introduction of the Trek Pod II, a product designed to take the place of both a trekking pole and tripod.

The Trek Pod II can be used as an adjustable height trekking pole while hiking through rough terrain. When needed, three legs flair out from the base transforming the pole into a freestanding tripod. Atop the Trek pole is a powerful magnet. Users receive two additional magnets that attach to an optic’s or camera’s threaded mounts.

The Trek Pod II also includes the VersaRest. This rest attaches to the pole and is designed to be used as support for a rifle, large-lensed camera or other large optics.

The lightweight pole is rugged enough for the roughest terrain and features a dark brown anodized finish that matches the finish on Leupold Golden Ring® optics.
