SureFire Introduces World's Smallest Weapon-Mounted Light
—X200™ features ultra-bright LED and Digital Plus® Technology—
SureFire introduces the X200, the world's smallest high-performance LED (Light Emitting Diode)
WeaponLight TM. Using an ultra-bright, shock proof LED and proprietary engineering, the X200
produces over four times the output of a two D-cell flashlight—with enough power to locate and
momentarily blind.
The X200 mounts directly and instantly to Glocks and other rail-equipped handguns and comes with
two interchangeable rail interface plates: one for the universal standard rail (as found on Glocks) and
one for Picatinny rails. Changing the components is easy, requiring only an Allen wrench.
Constructed of aerospace grade aluminum with a rugged military specification hard-anodized finish,
and powered by two SureFire lithium batteries (10-year shelf life), the 3.3”, 3.5 ounce X200 features
an ambidextrous and constant-on switch that gives the user the tactical advantage of momentary
activation or the convenience of a constant-on switch. Future versions will also include a pressureactivated
remote tape switch. In addition the X200 is waterproof to 30 meters (99 feet).
The X200's digital current regulation circuitry matches the LED's current requirements with the
battery's output to maintain a consistent light output for the useable life of the batteries (as opposed
to unregulated lights, which are subject to a steady decline in light intensity beginning shortly after
activation). A computer engineered focusing lens allows the X200 to project a tightly focused beam
at greater distances than comparably sized pistol lights.
Suggested retail for the X200 is $195. Available in December 2003 through authorized SureFire
dealers or online at www.surefire.com.
SureFire is a worldwide supplier of flashlights and weapon-mounted tactical lights designed to meet
the demanding needs of law enforcement, military, and emergency professionals.
