Weatherby Reintroduces Mark V Ultra Lightweight, Accumark Rifles in Left-Hand Models

News flash for southpaw hunters and shooters: Weatherby has reintroduced left-hand models of the Mark V® Ultra Lightweight and Accumark® rifles.

"For all those who have asked about a Weatherby for lefties, we are very pleased to bring back these left-hand versions of two of our most popular Mark V rifles, in two of the most popular calibers," said Brad Ruddell, Weatherby's vice president of sales and marketing. "It's also important to note that availability is limited, so interested parties should contact their Weatherby dealer as soon as possible."

Both of the new left-hand models are available in .257 Weatherby Magnum and .300 Weatherby Magnum. Weighing a scant 6 3/4 pounds, the left-hand Ultra Lightweight features a gray Monte Carlo composite stock with black spiderweb accents. Offering all the accuracy-enhancing features for which Accumark is known, the left-hand model sports a black Monte Carlo composite stock with matte gel coat finish and gray spiderwebbing.

Manufacturer's suggested retail prices: left-hand Ultra Lightweight, $1,855; left-hand Accumark, $1,829. Both come with Weatherby's accuracy guarantee of a 1 1/2-inch, 3-shot group at 100 yards from a cold barrel using premium (non-Weatherby calibers) or Weatherby factory ammunition.
