Weatherby Adds Four Popular Calibers to Vanguard® Line

Weatherby's 2007 line of Vanguard® rifles features four additional calibers commonly used for big game and varmint hunting.

The Vanguard Synthetic, Sporter and SUB-MOA Matte rifles are now available in .25-06 Remington, a popular deer caliber. New caliber options for the Vanguard Deluxe are the versatile 7mm Remington Magnum and .300 Winchester Magnum, a popular choice for hunting most of North America's big game. Prairie dog hunters and other fans of the .204 Ruger can now enjoy this chambering in the Vanguard Varmint Special and SUB-MOA Varmint models.

"Vanguard sales, to deer and varmint hunters in particular, have grown by leaps and bounds the past few years, and we want to make sure their favorite calibers are available in these particular rifles. All Vanguard rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 1 1/2-inch (.99-inch for SUB-MOA models) or better three-shot group at 100 yards from a cold barrel when used with premium (non-Weatherby calibers) or Weatherby factory ammunition. Each rifle comes with a factory-shot target to demonstrate its accuracy.
