Weatherby Performance Wool Line Now Includes New 28-Ounce Heavyweight Bibs

Weatherby now offers 28-ounce Heavyweight Bibs in its line of Performance Wool outerwear.

This marks the first time the advantages of Performance Wool for cold-weather protection have been available in a bib design. The 28-ounce Heavyweight Bibs feature a High Desert Brown camo pattern.

"Bibs have earned an important niche in cold-weather clothing," says Wade Krinke, Weatherby's director of soft goods. "They provide extra upper body coverage and are often favored by hunters who must remain static for extended periods in treestands and blinds. In these situations, Performance Wool has qualities which enable it to offer extra comfort and protection without adding weight or bulk."

The new 28-ounce Heavyweight Bibs are created by weaving 100 percent virgin wool into a matrix of synthetic fibers. The result is a highly versatile fabric, which combines excellent insulating, and moisture-wicking properties with extra strength and durability.

This, combined, with a micro-weave lining of itch-proof mini-fleece, helps the wearer maintain a higher degree of warmth even when wet, as well as a greater comfort level when exertion causes sweating. In addition, the engineering of Performance Wool adds strength while providing a material, which is machine-washable with only minimum shrinkage.

Construction of the new bibs focuses on comfort and durability. Both the seat and knees have a double layer of Performance Wool and the gusseted crotch, articulate knee design and general relaxed fit allow easy, unrestricted movement.

Ample storage space is provided in two front pockets, two covered rear pockets and a cargo chest pocket. In addition, adjustable suspenders with quick-release buckles plus lower leg zippers make the bib easy to don and remove.
